About Copado

Copado is a leading DevOps platform for Salesforce. It enables enterprise teams to release faster, innovate securely and eliminate the pain of release days, and its platform powers CI/CD and automated testing for global engineering organizations. The case study places the project in North America and classifies Copado in the technology and SaaS vertical. Its security operations manager describes the Google and Foresite stack as protecting $64M in revenue.

The challenge

Copado needed to secure fast-moving DevOps pipelines and container workloads without slowing innovation or compromising the trust of the enterprise engineering teams that rely on its platform. Its internal security team struggled with tool sprawl, alert fatigue and limited automation.

The most critical constraint was data access. Copado had to detect threats in real time without accessing customer-sensitive workloads. Any solution had to be transparent and cloud-native, delivering full visibility and control over the environment while keeping sensitive customer data out of reach of the security tooling and the people operating it.

The stakes were high. Copado's security operations manager later said that turning off the resulting stack would put $64M in revenue at risk, a measure of how central security had become to the platform's business.

If I turned off this stack today, I'd be risking $64M in revenue. That's how critical Google and Foresite are to our security.

The solution

Foresite partnered with Copado to deploy and operationalize Google SecOps through Catalyst Bridge, delivering transparent, AI-powered threat detection across CI/CD pipelines and containerized workloads.

Delivered through Catalyst Bridge, Google SecOps provides unified detection, enriched correlation and runtime visibility without requiring direct access to sensitive data. The project included data integration, parser development, detection and response engineering and operational enablement, all delivered by Foresite as a fully managed service that replaced Copado's legacy MDR tooling.

Automated triage and SOAR handle the initial response, reducing the manual load on Copado's team. Because the solution requires no customer data access, Copado retains full control over its environment while Foresite operates the detection and response function.

Copado now runs a transparent, scalable SecOps foundation with real-time visibility and AI-powered detection. Alert volume has been dramatically reduced, response times have improved through automated triage and SOAR, and the security model scales with the company's DevOps velocity.
