Rather than owning facilities, it aggregates wholesale capacity across top-tier third-party data centers (CyrusOne, Equinix, QTS, NTT, Digital Realty, DC Blox and others) and layers on its own cloud, connectivity and managed-services expertise, with direct on-ramps to AWS, Azure and Google Cloud. It targets mid-to-large enterprises, MSPs, government and regulated industries (healthcare, finance) needing SOC 2 Type II / HIPAA / PCI-DSS-aligned, GPU/AI-ready infrastructure with white-glove support. In 2023 Data Canopy merged with Intelishift (backed by a $50M investment from Metropolitan Partners Group) and acquired Ntirety’s colocation hosting business, operating the combined company under the Data Canopy brand.
