MDLBEAST case study

About MDLBEAST

MDLBEAST is a music entertainment company based in Saudi Arabia. It is known for transforming the regional cultural landscape through immersive experiences that blend music, arts and innovation. The brand is most recognized for organizing large-scale events such as Soundstorm, described in the case study as one of the world's biggest music festivals, and the XP Music Conference, a knowledge-sharing platform aimed at evolving the music scene in the Middle East. Its initiatives emphasize socio-cultural impact across the GCC, especially in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The challenge

Before working with XEBO.ai, MDLBEAST had critical gaps in its understanding of brand perception, post-event customer satisfaction and ticket pricing. The company needed to track brand health across several countries, including Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Bahrain and Kuwait, but had no structured, data-driven way to measure both the rational and emotional elements of its brand against competitors.

Post-event insight was another weak point. Feedback from flagship events such as Soundstorm and the XP Music Conference was fragmented, which made it difficult to act on customer experience data while it was still relevant. At the same time, ticket bundles were being priced without validated models of consumer preference, a practice that risked revenue leakage or suboptimal customer satisfaction.

MDLBEAST began looking for a partner that could deliver continuous, regional brand health tracking, smart transactional CSAT measurement after events, and a customer-centric pricing study to determine the best ticket configurations. The objective was to move from intuition-driven decision-making to an evidence-based strategy with the voice of the customer at its core.

The solution

MDLBEAST selected XEBO.ai for a holistic, scalable insights platform that combined advanced analytics with practical application. Three capabilities stood out: a Brand Health Tracker with monthly data collection across GCC countries to evaluate emotional and rational brand attributes alongside advertising diagnostics; Post-Event CX Surveys, real-time transactional CSAT tools tailored to large-scale music events; and an event pricing study built on conjoint analysis to identify the best-performing ticket bundles for General Admission and VIP categories.

XEBO.ai deployed the program as three parallel workstreams. The monthly Brand Health Tracker was rolled out across four countries, collecting consistent insight on brand perception, competitor benchmarks and advertising effectiveness. Post-Event CX Surveys were launched immediately after flagship events such as Soundstorm and the XP Music Conference to capture feedback while it was fresh. The conjoint-based pricing study delivered targeted insight on ticket preferences and enabled scenario modeling for different combinations of price and features.

The integration focused on dashboard accessibility, rapid data interpretation and actionability, so that survey intelligence could be merged with advanced analytics and applied directly to MDLBEAST's branding, pricing and event decisions.
