The challenge

Lakewood School District's network infrastructure couldn't support their 1:1 Chromebook initiative. WiFi dead zones frustrated teachers, bandwidth bottlenecks made video learning impossible, and content filtering struggled to keep students safe online. E-Rate funding was available but the district lacked expertise to navigate the program.

Our 1:1 initiative was failing because of network limitations. Rubber Duck Technology not only designed the right solution but navigated E-Rate to fund most of the project. Our teachers finally have the digital classroom they were promised.

  • E-Rate funded 80% of project cost
  • WiFi coverage expanded to 100% of facilities
  • 10x bandwidth increase
  • Zero content filtering complaints
  • Student device success rate improved to 99%
