In March 2026, Bluebird Fiber (Kansas City, MO) completed its acquisition of substantially all of Everstream's assets and operations — with Everstream emerging from Chapter 11 concurrently — and the combined ~36,000 route-mile Midwest network now operates under the Bluebird Fiber name.
